Comfort Bag

Designed to be worn across the body, gender neutral. Inspired by First Nation Canadian Art. Made from raw fleece of given Jacob, Hebridean and Whiteface Woodland sheep. Constructed in a single piece of felt, worked until really tough. Remains in use.

Herdwick Bird

Hand formed & felted Herdwick fleece exterior with soft yellow Merino interior. Wool vessel named from the inspiration of young birds with open yellow beaks, asking to be fed. This piece pushes the boundaries of what are possible in hand felt vessel construction skills. The body’s volume & the narrowness and length of the neck are challenging to achieve

Embroidery “Watermark” Abstract Flowing Mixed Media

Works 30cm square, frames 53cm square.  £145 each, all sold.

Series of ten pieces using a printed Swedish furnishing cloth, which brought to my mind aerial landscapes. Embellished with many objects including, beads, ceramic and vintage glass buttons, bandage gauze and silk carrier rods.

A series of four pieces worked upon a cotton ground of small pocket woven cloth, which allows for the insertion of embroidery threads to be woven within. All framed and glazed.
